At the tip of the Hicacos Peninsula beyond Varadero's resort strip, Marina Gaviota is the largest marina in Cuba by capacity and a designated port of entry. It anchors the north-central cruising grounds and gives quick access to the cays of the Jardines del Rey to the east and to Havana to the west.
