Moa es uno de los 14 municipios que conforman la provincia de Holguín, Cuba, cuya capital municipal es la ciudad homónima. Se ubica en el extremo oriental de la provincia, limitando al norte con el océano Atlántico. Su territorio es predominantemente montañoso, formando parte del macizo Nipe-Sagua-Baracoa y del Parque nacional Alejandro de Humboldt, declarado Patrimonio Mundial por la UNESCO.
