Nuevitas es un municipio y una ciudad portuaria, situada en la zona norte de la provincia de Camagüey, en Cuba. Es uno de los principales centros agroindustriales y pesqueros del país, y su puerto, ubicado en la bahía de Nuevitas, desempeña un papel clave en el comercio marítimo de la región. La ciudad posee además una significativa historia vinculada al desarrollo industrial del oriente cubano.

El pueblo data de 1818. Aquí nacieron: Joel Lamela, velocista cubano (n. 1971), Emilia Bernal, poetisa cubana (1884–1964) y Mario Eusebio Mestril Vega, sacerdote católico cubano (n. 1940). Aquí murieron: Antonio Vico y Pintos, actor español (1840–1902).
